[Letter] 1854 May 11, Philadelphia, Pa. to Rev. John A. Broadus, Charlottesville, Va. / O.C. Wheeler. 1854.

Wheeler was attending denominatinal anniversary meetings in Philadelphia and requested Broadus to come there to meet with him at the request of Judge [Edward J.] Willis, concerning Broadus's call to the pastorate of the Baptist Church of Sacramento City, California. Wheeler wrote that his own wishes concerning the call corresponded with Willis's.
